Will my insurance company reimburse me?

We are considered an out-of-network provider with all insurance companies. Even if you have coverage, this does not mean that your insurance company will not cover some/all services. Payment for services is provided directly by the family to North Bay Speech. Once payment is received, families can request a monthly superbill with treatment/evaluation services and diagnosis codes that can be submitted to an insurance company to seek reimbursement.

How is payment arranged?

North Bay Speech is a private pay clinic. You must have a credit card on file to book your evaluation. Payments are made electronically with credit cards or HSA cards at the time of service. Jill can provide an itemized superbill receipt with all coding needed to request reimbursement from your insurance company. Check in advance with your insurance company to see if they will cover out-of-network speech therapy.

What medical coding do you use in your practice as a speech-language pathologist specializing in orofacial myofunctional disorders?

All coding will be individualized at the time of your assessment. The procedural codes most often used are the following:

  • 92610: Evaluation of oral swallowing function

  • 92526: Treatment of swallowing dysfunction and/or oral function for feeding

  • 92507: Speech therapy
