Jill’s private practice focuses mainly on severe articulation disorders, Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders, and swallowing. Jill’s myofunctional approach to speech therapy allows her to make significant progress with her clients in a timely fashion. Jill’s advanced training in Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders (OMDs) allows her to evaluate, educate, and treat patients with tongue ties. When treating OMDs, Jill works closely with other providers including other speech pathologists, orthodontists, dentists, ENTs, allergists, and periodontists.

Jill also has specialized training in various methodologies, including PROMPT Level I and Level II, PECS, Social Thinking, Kaufman Speech to Language Protocol, DIR Floortime, ABA techniques, Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing for children with apraxia, Talk Tools Oral Placement Therapy, TOTS: Tethered Oral Tissues Specialty Training, and The Breathe Institute’s Functional Frenuloplasty and Sleep Coursework. Jill’s approach to therapy is direct, honest, and collaborative. She believes in delivering therapy that gets to the root of an issue, delivering results for clients in the most efficient and effective manner possible. She involves parents and caregivers when working with children and teens, and provides home exercises to ensure good progress and generalization of skills outside of the therapy room.

When Jill is not providing therapy or actively engaged in continuing education, she enjoys staying active, reading, and spending time with her husband and their two teenage daughters.
